The ECP said the membership of Bhatti was suspended in the light of verdict of election tribunal.
One Ilyas Khan had alleged Bhatti of rigging in elections and filed a petition for suspension of his membership.
In another verdict, the ECP restored membership of PML-N parliamentarian Tariq Bajwa from PP-170. The notification in this connection has also been issued.
Bajwa’s membership was restored after the orders of Supreme Court. He had charges of possessing a fake academic degree that could not be proved.
