ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday completed the process of receiving nomination papers from the four provinces for Senate elections.
According to the election commission, it has received 34 nomination papers from Punjab, one from Islamabad, 34 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 28 from Balochistan and 47 from Sindh.
Nomination papers for the seats of federal capital can be filed by Saturday while that for FATA by Tuesday next.
Polling for the Senate elections will be held on March 3.
Meanwhile, the ECP has set up facilitation centers at its provincial offices for Senate Elections 2018.
This system will help in improving scrutiny of the particulars of the candidates.

The online technology will also seek assistance from State Bank of Pakistan and other institutions.
In this regard, a letter has been written by Secretary ECP to heads of all institutions, including NAB, NADRA and FBR, seeking their help.
From Sindh, The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) has nominated 10 people on general seats and four on two reserved seats for women.
While, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has nominated seven people for general seats and four for reserved seats for women.
The Pak Sarzameen Party forwarded four names for general seats and one for seats for women.
PPPP nominated four members for two seats for technocrat and Ulema and two members for a seat for non-Muslim.
MQM-P nominated five members for technocrat and Ulema and one member for seat for non-Muslim.
