Advisor to Prime Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that democracy progressed with tolerance and dialogues, instead of creating deadlocks, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Talking to the media with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition partners on Thursday, he said that the politicians have started combined efforts to steer the country out of the crisis. He said that democracy can only be progressed with tolerance and dialogues, instead of creating deadlocks.
Qamar Zaman Kaira further said that the PDM leadership is gathering the coalition partners on a single page prior to holding talks with the opposition, while all the political parties will get on board as the nation’s hope is stuck with the politicians.

He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan created chaos in the situation in the country which brought a change in our behaviour.
Moreover, former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani said that the country is going through a difficult phase and the political parties can play a major role to overcome this difficult phase.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari suggested in the parliament that the government should consider dialogues with the opposition.
