Dar, in his letter written to the chief ministers, inquired about surge in prices of commodities, despite the fact that federal budget had nothing that could result in hiking the rates.
He also took notice of increase in the rates of poultry (chicken) and sought an explanation from Pakistan Poultry Association in this regard. The association assured of bringing rates down within two days.
The minister urged provincial government to keep prices controlled and avoid taking measures that may result in inflation during Ramazan.
