According to details, Ayyan submitted her references and two surety bonds of Rs 1 million each, which were accepted by the court. The Rs 1 million surety bonds were deposited by Ghazala Anwar and Raja Mudassir.
Three days ago, the duty judge Justice Sabir Sultan had refused to return back Ayyan’s passport to her and stated that returning the passport was of a sensitive nature, which would be settled only by the trial court. He had postponed the proceedings till November 30th and directed Ayyan to contact the Customs court.
The court in Rawalpindi had accepted Ayyan’s return of passport request, had ordered her to deposit 2 surety bonds of Rs 1 million each.
The supermodel was arrested in March of this year, for carrying more than $500,000 with her. Ayyan’s passport was confiscated by custom authorities.
