CJCSC urges students to pay attention on character building

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat on Saturday urged the students to focus on their character building.

General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, while addressing an event, said that the students will have to increase efforts for building their character, otherwise, the educational degrees would not possess any importance.

“I’m not talking about the character which you are seeing, but the one that would be witnessed by the world. Positive behaviour, hard work and passion

are the keys to success. The one is better which changes a challenge into a success and students should play their role in the country as an agent of change besides continuing struggle for the whole life.” CJCSC added, “You should be a door to others in your life but not the wall.”

The top military officer asked the students to step forward to the modernisation and feel proud of what they already are instead of following West.
