Seven children injured as train rams into school van in Narowal

NAROWAL: At least seven children were wounded on Tuesday when a passenger train rammed into a school van at a railway crossing in Narowal district, ARY News reported.

According to rescue officials, the Lasani Express, which was travelling to Lahore, hit the school van at a railway crossing near a local railway station in the city. As a result, seven children suffered wounds.

The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility. One of them is in critical condition, rescue officials said.

Earlier this year, on Oct 16, the Khushhal Khan Khattak Express rammed into a rickshaw. Most of the victims who belonged to the same family were going back home after attending a wedding when the train travelling from Karachi to Peshawar hit their rickshaw.
