Chairman Saudi Shura Council calls on PM Imran

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al Ash-Sheikh called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday.

Radio Pakistan reported that Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Leader of the House in Senate Syed Shibli Faraz, and senior officials were present during the meeting.

The delegation of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, headed by its Chairman Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Shaikh, arrived in Pakistan on a three-day official visit on Tuesday.

Senator Raja Zafarul Haq and other distinguished parliamentarian welcomed the delegation at Nur Khan Airbase in Islamabad.

Shura Council’s delegation arrived in Pakistan on the invitation of Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani to further strengthen bilateral relationship between the two brotherly countries and to boost trade and investment cooperation.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Shura Council’s delegation arrived in Pakistan after 14 years.
