Chairman NADRA takes notice of SOPs violation at centres

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik on Saturday has directed strict compliance on the standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed to contain the pandemic spread in the fourth wave.

Taking notice of the violations of the SOPs at the NADRA centres across the country, Tariq Malik directed the concerned staff to ensure the implementation of the health-related guidelines.

“No one should be allowed to enter centres without proper screening,” the NADRA chief said and urged the masses to adopt the SOPs as the fourth wave of the COVID-19 is spreading fast across the country.

Chairman NADRA also directed to ensure social distancing inside and outside the centres and anti-COVID germs spray should be carried out at centres regularly.

Pakistan has reported 4,720 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours.

The NCOC said that the country’s number of overall confirmed cases has risen to 1,063,125, including 959,491recoveries, adding that the positivity rate of infections was recorded at 8.24 per cent.
