FAISALABAD: District Election Commissioner (DEC) Faisalabad has decided to move Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Raja Sultan and sought assets details of the latter, ARY News reported on Saturday.
According to details, DEC Faisalabad Irfan Kosar penned down a letter to Secretary Election Commission and sought assets details of CEC Sikandar Raja Sultan.
Irfan Kosar has decided to move Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against the chief election commissioner as he also sought assets details of Sultan’s elder son.
The district election commissioner, in the letter, sought minutes of Divisional Development Working Party’s (DDWP) meeting and also details of funds provided to Public Works Department (PWD).
The petitioner also sought the seniority list of the officers from BPS17 to 21 in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). “All information should be provided by May 5”, DEC Faisalabad said.
