LAHORE: In a bid to ensure good governance and relief to the masses, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday ordered indiscriminate action against profiteers and hoarders across the province, ARY News reported.
Sardar Usman Buzdar held a prolonged meeting with the provincial ministers on good governess at his office today and decided to take immediate steps to improve administrative issues.
He directed the price control magistrates to play an effective role against the profiteers. He said that the government would ensure good governance and vowed to promote merit in the province. The chief minister said that they would not let the masses on mercy of profiteers.
CM Buzdar said that his government would protect the rights of small growers and added that they would buy wheat from growers at the rate of Rs 1,300 per 40 kg.

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on March 19, had reiterated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had launched a battle against the corruption which has weakened the roots of the country.
In his statement issued here from Lahore today, he had said the government had adopted a zero tolerance policy against the menace of corruption.
