KARACHI: Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced to issue the admit cards of the SSC part II students – who submitted their examination forms late for the annual examination – today (Saturday), ARY News reported.
The annual exams of SSC part II were scheduled to begin from May 8 in Karachi, while the students who submitted their examination forms late will receive their admit card today.
Several parents complained about the exam centers were not clear in the online execution of the admit cards, while the center superintendent also complained about the insufficient number of furniture provided by the board.
“Some additional candidates are present at the exam centers but the required furniture has not been provided by the board,” center superintendent said.
On the other hand, the exam controller announced keeping the board open despite the weekly holiday, saying that the board will remain open on Sunday May 07, to facilitate the students.
The exam controller assured that the from next year, the exam center will also be included in the admit card to avoid any confusion.
Earlier to this, BSEK has announced the schedule of SSC part II annual exams and imposed a ban on the use of mobile phones by teachers and students in examination centers premises.
During a press conference, BSEK chairman, Sharaf Ali Shah, announced that the annual examination of the SSC part II will being from May 8, while the examination will be held in two shifts across Sindh.
The chairman further said that more than 700,000 students will participate across Sindh. Meanwhile 524 examination centers have been set up for 393,264 students to take part in Karachi.
