ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri have termed sacking Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed a scapegoat and eye-wash, ARY News reported.
Bilawal in a tweet demanded accountability from the government and said that PPP would not accept scapegoats or artificial sacrifice.
“We will not accept scapegoats or artificial sacrifice. We demand accountability,” he said.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri termed sacking of the minister a fraud and eye-wash. He claimed no action would be taken against the federal minister and he would be reinstated on his position in few months.
“A drama of removing Rana Sanaullah from his ministry was enacted in Model town case and he was reinstated later on,” he said.
He questioned: “Where fraud is committed with the national security institutions, what will be state of national security there?”
On the other hand, Chandio said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had started sacrificing his party members to save his rulership.
“Sacrifice of party members will not work. A solid sacrifice of royal family will be given,” he said.
