Bilawal speaks to rally in Sadiqabad, promises South Punjab province

SADIQABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday said that only his party, which gave South Punjab its first premier, can convert the region into a province, ARY News reported.

Speaking to a rally in Sadiqabad city of Rahim Yar Khan, the PPP chief said that his party has developed hospitals and universities in the Sindh province and can do so in the whole country if elected to power.

He was of the view that his party cares for farmers and the underprivileged sections of the society as it started the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and now plans to go ahead with hunger elimination program.

Bilawal maintained that only PPP can give the people of South Punjab region its rights as it gave them their first premier Yousuf Raza Gilani.
