KARACHI: Brushing aside reports that claim Bilawal Bhutto was replacing Khursheed Shah as the opposition leader in the National Assembly; Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) said all such talks were nothing but mere baseless rumours.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not replace Khursheed Shah as leader of the opposition in the lower house, clarified party spokesperson on Wednesday.
“No talks about changing the opposition leader happened at the PPP Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting,” said party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira.
He insisted that all such reports were entirely fictitious and bogus.
