TAXILA: Rebuking former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, former interior minister and disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday said he had been loyal to the person for 34 years who cared a dime for his loyalty when the time arrived, ARY News reported.
“I have always covered Nawaz Sharif and his family and intend to do so in the future also. However, some people hurt my trust and when the time came they left me in lurch,” he said while addressing a public gathering in Taxila.
In an angry tone, he said the Army did not oust him from premiership. He added that he had stopped him from confrontation with the institutions.

Nisar said if he told about the disciple and apostle of Nawaz Sharif, you would repent over their conducts and if they compelled him to respond then his response would be an open war.
Terming political stature of his opponent fielded by the PML-N in his constituency as midget, he said Qamar was a candidate of provincial assembly when he recently joined the PML-N and had little experience in the politics, while he joined the party in 1985 when there were not much people to support it.
Nisar was not issued a party ticket for elections after disagreements with the PML-N leadership. He is now contesting elections as an independent candidate. The PML-N has issued a ticket to Raja Qamar-ul-Islam from NA-59.
