The resolution tabled jointly by the government and the opposition members, said that the federal government should take measures to halt the sit-ins in Islamabad.
The resolution further said that the ongoing sit-ins have paralysed life in Islamabad.
The resolution condemned sit-ins in Islamabad and the demand of the dissolution of the parliament. It demanded the federal government to take steps for the end of the sit-ins.
The resolution also demanded other provincial assemblies to pass resolutions against the sit-ins in Islamabad.
The session was adjourned till August 25 after passing the resolution.
