ISLAMABAD: Former PTI leader Ayesha Gulalai on Monday said that some elements are likening her case to United States’ Bill Clinton/ Monica Lewinsky scandal which is shameful, ARY News reported.
Speaking to media outside parliament, the MNA who left PTI earlier this month and leveled serious allegations against party chief Imran Khan, said that some elements are likening her case to that of the former US president Bill Clinton’s scandal but “neither is Imran Khan PM or president” nor she foresees any chance of him ascending to any such position.
Gulalai, who now attends NA sessions in a tribal turban, also claimed that she is receiving threats from some people after opening up about “sexual harassment” in PTI and she has registered cases against those people.
The MNA who announced to leave PTI earlier this month, claimed in a presser and then in an ARY News interview that Imran Khan used to send “indecent messages” to her.
In the press conference, Ayesha Gulalai had said that one of her reasons to leave the party was that the party chief Imran Khan and his cronies send indecent text messages to female members while in her interview on ARY News, she said that such messages shocked her but she decided to ignore them to concern on her duties as a lawmaker.
About the proof, Gualai maintained that she will only present the messages before a legal body.
