Sources said that unknown persons on a motorcycle opened fire at the ASWJ worker at Iqbal Road of the garrison city.
Molana Mazhar Siddiqui was killed on the spot while his accomplice Ibrahim was severely injured in the shooting incident.
The body of the ASWJ spokesman was shifted to a hospital for procedures.
