ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary-General Asad Umar lambasted at the government over the ‘refusal of funds’ for elections, ARY News reported on Monday.
As per details, the Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi and PTI Secretary-General Asad Umar talked to the media outside the Supreme court.
Asad Umar says Govt of atomic power has no funds for elections
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the conduct of the honourable chief justice and the larger bench showed that they were not pressurized. The PTI leader said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Attorney General couldn’t present strong arguments.
He said that the PDM parties had stated that they will boycott the supreme court proceeding but their counsel presented the arguments in the court today.
The PTI Secretary-General Asad Umar accused the PDM government of creating a divide in the court. He said that their counsel tried to keep the illusion regarding supreme court judges among people.
He clarified that the government has objection to sou motu but this case is not sou motu. The judges who sent the former prime minister Imran Khan home and the judges who decision made to Shehbaz Sharif the Prime Minister are included in this bench too.
The current government is making a mockery of the entire nation by stating that the country which has atomic bombs, has no money for elections.
