Army will effectively respond to any aggression along LoC: COAS

The statement was made during the visit of the Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif to the Pakistan Army outposts along the LoC near Jehlum. On this occasion, local commanders briefed the COAS about the prevailing security situation at the LoC.

Interacting with the troops deployed there, General Raheel Sharif expressed his satisfaction and praised the high state

of morale and professional preparedness of the soldiers. He paid a tribute to the sacrifices of the officials and soldiers deployed at the front line for the sake of ensuring safety and security of the homeland.

Earlier to this, the Commander of 10 Corps, Lieutenant General Qamar Javed Bajwa had welcomed the Army Chief upon his arrival.
