ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt on Tuesday met the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed matters pertaining to national defence, ARY News reported.
The PM praised the vital role of air forces in defence of the country. Mr. Sharif said, “We would eliminate all the terrorists from the land.”
He was of the view that Pakistan army would not allow
any hideout of terrorists to remain in place. State will ensure its complete writ in tribal areas of the country. He told that military operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ was launched with consultation of all relevant stakeholders.He maintained that development work would begin in tribal areas once the operation completed. The government will utilize all resources to eliminate terrorists, wherever in the country, he added.
