Arms, suspects were kept in Qadri’s secretariat, claims Sanaullah

LAHORE:  Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has claimed that there were reports of arms and suspicious persons in Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat, prompting police action, ARY News reported Tuesday.

Talking to media outside Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah said Model Town area was being made a no-go area ahead of the arrival of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.

“Reports of presence of arms and suspicious persons in Mihaj-ul-Quran secretariat proved correct during police search,” he added.

He said Tahir-ul-Qadri was trying to ‘bulldoze’ democracy in the country. His agenda only surrounds spreading anarchy and chaos, he claimed. The minister said three-pronged strategy will be ensured after military operation in North Waziristan Agency.
