RAWALPINID: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayaz ul Hasan Chohan on Monday said that Pakistan’s professional armed forces and brave people will respond befittingly to any Indian misadventure, ARY News reported.
Addressing “Meet the Press” program at Rawalpindi Press Club, Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan said that government and Armed Forces are at one page so adventurism by Indian forces would be tackled accordingly.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended message of peace and negotiations to India but in reply, they only created a war-like situation which is highly condemnable,” lamented the minister.
He also condemned Indian forces firing over helicopter of AJK PM and termed it “a cowardly act”.
Replying to reporters’ questions, Chohan said that provincial government drafting laws and policies to facilitate working journalists.
“First time in the history of province, just advertisement policy had been formulated to protect the rights of journalists,” said the minister.
He lauded the role of media persons and acknowledged their great sacrifices for restoration of democracy and protection of human rights.
Moreover, he announced that Health Cards would be issued to journalists soon to provide them with affordable medical treatment.
