KARACHI: In the wake of Karachi airport attack that claimed lives of over two dozen people on June 8, the authorities have now decided to bring administrative changes in the Airport Security Force (ASF) setup, ARY News reported.
Under the proposed setup, a retired general will be an administrative official of the ASF. The deputy of the administrator will be a brigadier ranked officer.
Sources told that the new director general of the ASF will be appointed through army in next 24 hours. Once new administrative changes come into effect, experts from armed forces will provide training to ASF sky marshal regarding use of advanced weapons.
