According to details, Saddar Division Police arrested five people involved in kidnapping a citizen named Rauf and recovered the abductee.
SP Saddar Zahid Marwat in a press conference claimed that the citizen was kidnapped two days ago and the kidnappers demanded 2700,000 rupees in ransom for his release. However, police action resulted not only in abductee’s but arrest of the criminals involved in the crime.
“The criminals are also involved in a number of robberies”, said Marwat.
Firearms and cellphones were seized from the kidnappers.
