According to details, earthquake shook Mingora, Shangla and Bunair areas of Swat in the evening on Saturday. Tremors were also felt in several areas of the Malakand division.
The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded to be 5.2 on the Richter scale; however its epicenter is being located.
As soon as the shocks were felt, people left their businesses and rushed out of their shops and houses reciting verses of the holy Quran.
