Zayn Malik performs as solo artist for the first time with ‘Pillowtalk’ on Tonight Show

It couldn’t get bigger than this. Zayn Malik’s debut performance as a solo artist on the ‘Tonight Show’. The song, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, is a soulful melody which has been doing fairly well ever since its release. The British singer showed up on the sets of Fallon’s show and seemed to be a little nervous but did well to hold on to his voice-and nerves-as he launched into the song.

Malik’s performance was met with loud cheers and thunderous applause, as the artist rounded it up with a wave to the fans. Zayn Malik had a tumultuous last year when he was hit with news of a scandal, which was followed up by a breakup with his then-girlfriend Perry Edwards. Zayn also broke apart from his boy band group One Direction, since he said he wanted to live a normal life.
