CAIRNS: Yasir Shah will miss out Pakistan’s three-day practice match against Cricket Australia XI due to back pain, ARY News reported.
According to details, Shah suffered back problems during a practice session ahead of the match.
The doctor has suggested the leg-spinner to rest for two-days. He will miss out the day/night practise match which will be played at Cairns starting from 8th December.
Apart from Yasir Shah, Mohammad Nawaz is the only specialist spinner picked in the 16-member squad for Pakistan for the tour of Australia.
The three-match test series between Pakistan and Australia starts on December 15 in Brisbane.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani batsmen practiced on marble slabs in order to get familiar with the fast and bouncy conditions in the “Land Down Under”.
