Wildlife officials find alligator’s leg in vehicle’s dashboard

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officers became suspicious after they found an alligator’s foot in the dashboard of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, who was stopped for checking of his pass at a wildlife area, first told FWC officers that he had killed the alligator several years ago.

However, the officers found the body parts of the alligator parts scattered throughout the vehicle and the smell helped the authorities know that the animal was taken away recently.

The unidentified driver later admitted that he had killed the alligator within the last few days without a permit.
