Who is Saqib Khan, Uroosa Siddiqui’s husband?

Famous actor Uroosa Siddiqui is married to her best friend, renowned film and TV director Saqib Khan.

Appearing at ARY Zindagi’s chat show ‘The Night Show with Ayaz Samoo’, the ‘Kuch Ankahi’ actor opened up about her love story with director Saqib Khan, known for helming the titles like ‘Hangor’, ‘Fraud’ and ‘Gul-o-Gulzar’.

Siddiqui revealed that she and her now-husband were both from the first batch of NAPA (National Academy of Performing Arts) back in 2005, and their first encounter was quite filmy. “We were from the different sections. I had heard his voice only during the orientation and fell for it,” she shared with the host.

“Later, he turned out to be one of the most talented students of NAPA,” Siddiqui gushed.

Further spilling the beans on their love story, the actor mentioned that they remained very good friends for three years during their program, but after passing out, they went their ways.

“It was then that we felt the void of each other and returned to NAPA as teachers,” she concluded.

Siddiqui termed their relationship as a good mix of ‘love, friendship and work’.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Uroosa Siddiqui is currently being seen in ARY Digital’s star-studded family play ‘Kuch Ankahi’. She portrays Shagufta – the love interest of Saif-ur-Rehman [Ali Safina], husband of Samiya [Mira Sethi].
