KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Sharmila Faruqui has revealed that she can drive tractor, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
On Monday, Pakistan People’s Party held a tractor March against the federal government to express solidarity with farmers. The march was held in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The protest demonstration was largely attended by the PPP leaders, workers and the female lawmakers of Sindh’s ruling party.
Talking to ARY News, MPA Sharmila Faruqui said the farmers of the country are facing hardships, they are unable to get the prices of their crops and urea shortage has hit them badly. Responding to a question, Ms Farooqui said not only she can sit on the tractor, but she knows how to drive it.

“I can drive the tractor, but you have to come to my village Thatta to see it,” MPA Sharmila Faruqui was quoted as saying.
