WATCH: Bees attack stadium during match between Sri Lanka, South Africa

JOHANNESBURG: The cricket match between Sri Lanka and South Africa was held up for about an hour after bees swarmed into Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The bees were cleared with the help of a local beekeeper who rushed to the ground with his equipment after watching the match on television.

On seeing the bees swarming onto the pitch, the players dropped themselves on the ground for cover from bees attack.

South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the third ODI taking a winning 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
