Britain news agency The Daily Mail shared pictures of his teeth from the red carpet of the illustrious film festival. He attended the event for the screening of his movie ‘Jeanne du Barry‘, which received a seven-minute standing ovation.
His avatar did not sit well with social media, who voiced their displeasure over his look.

It is pertinent to mention that the Hollywood actor sported brown and rotten teeth in his ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ films.
It was the ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory‘ star’s first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in 12 years. His last one was in 2011 for the premier of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides‘.
The actor, on the other hand, said he feels isolated after the high-profile cases against his former actor-wife Amber Heard.

“You’d have to not have a pulse at that point to feel like, ‘No, none of this is happening’,” he said while speaking with the media. “This is actually just a weird joke.”
