Varun Dhawan, while shooting an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, had donned a similar purple gown and angel wings that were worn by Taher Shah in the music video of the song Angel.
He reportedly lip-synced several lines of the song during the show as well.
It should be noted that Pakistani music star Taher Shah became famous with his first single “Eye to Eye”. The song became viral on television and social media websites whereas many celebrities had parodied the song.
Shah’s second song “Angel” was released this year and had received mixed reviews by the masses. However, the music video of the song has 3.8 million views on Youtube.
