Turkish people have adopted a riveting way of protesting against Unites States President Donald Trump after he doubled the tariffs on aluminium and steel from Turkey, prompting Ankara to sharply hike tariffs on several US products.
The Turks have taken to Twitter and started posting their videos, using the hashtag #TurkeyWillPrevail, in which they can be seen destroying various US products such as Coca-Cola bottles, Apple items and dollar notes.
Scores of videos have surfaced of people smashing iPhones, one of the most popular American brand, in protest against the US sanctions. People in Turkey and across the globe have adopted different means, including buying Turkish products and currency, to show solidarity with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan against Turmp’s threats.
A number of people in Pakistan also bought Turkish Lira and several of the products of Turkey.

The two NATO members are at odds over Turkey’s detention of an American pastor for espionage and spying, which has triggered a trade row and sent the local currency the lira into a tailspin.
