ISLAMABAD: Turkey on Tuesday announced to provide liver transplant facility to over 1,500 Pakistani patients every year.
Pakistani liver patients will have liver transplant facility in selected Turkish hospitals, this decision was made at a high-level meeting of Turkish delegation led by Director General Health Dr Onor Gonor with Minister of State for National Health Services Regulation and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar in Islamabad.
Over 1,500 Pakistanis have to undergo liver transplant every year for which Turkey has offered special package.
