Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on-screen can never be a bad idea, especially after their smash hit film from last year Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. The two once again reignite their silver screen chemistry with the upcoming film Bajirao Mastan which also stars Priyanka Chopra in a prominent role.
The teaser trailer for the film was recently released and has all the fine ingredients of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. The period drama film based on Peshwa Bajirao, a warrior who had two wives, one of them Mastani. Bajirao is being played by actor Ranveer Singh whereas Mastani will be played by stellar actress Deepika Padukone. In the trailer, a bald Ranveer Singh can be seen wielding a sword as he slashes his enemies into half, mounted on a horse fiercely. Deepika Padukone appears to be skilled at sword fighting and archery as well, flinging a couple of fire arrows on opposing forces in the trailer.

Given the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the director of the movie and Deepika is the lead actress in the movie, what can go wrong? Deepika Padukone has registered numerous hits at the box office since her film Cocktail from 2012, starring in box office hits such as Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, Chennai Express, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Piku.
