‘Top cops on terrorists’ hit-list in Karachi’

According to details, the militants belong to TTP Swat faction who divided into two groups upon reaching Karachi from Afghanistan. One of the groups is being led by a man named Salman alias Yasir, while the other by Javed Hashmi.

“SSP Malir Rao Anwar and Counter Terrorism Department’s (CTD) officials Ali Raza, Raja Khalid and Tariq Islam are on the hit-list of these terrorists,” read the alert.

Both the groups have also been tasked with target killing, kidnapping for ransom and extorting money from citizens, it added.
