An exchange of fire took place between the robbers and police at a village near the Hithri Bypass in Hyderabad in which three dacoits were killed.
Two police officers were also injured in the clash.
Police have said that the dacoits were involved in serious criminal offences. Weapons were also recovered from the slain dacoits.
The law enforcement agencies launched a search operation for the arrest of the killed robbers’ accomplices in the adjacent areas.
