SRINAGAR: Three Indian soldiers including an officer were killed in an attack on a military camp in India-Occupied Kashmir, ARY News reported
Army spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said the attackers used guns and grenades to target soldiers northwest of Kashmir. However, there was no independent confirmation of the incident and no separatist group has claimed responsibility of the incident.
Separately, Indian security forces arrested key separatist leader Asia Andrabi after accusing her of inciting women against Indian security forces. The arrest sparked protests and rallies in the valley demanding her immediate release.
More than 90 civilians have been killed and thousands more injured in recent spate of clashes between protesters and Indian government forces which erupted after killing of Burhan Wani, a freedom fighter, by the Indian army troops.
