The beard, the salute and the celebration at Lord’s

It all made sense…till Pakistan’s captain stole the show on day one of the highly anticipated Pak-Eng test encounter.

Yesterday’s match earned Misbah-ul-Haq, the oldest player badge scoring a brilliant test century for 82 years.

You think, he surprised you with such a show of talent?

He always does that for Pakistan with complete responsibility. Right!

This time, the world media and fans of the evergreen Haq were deeply fascinated by his bearded looks, modest gesture and unique celebration at the Lord’s ground.

And guess what, cricket fans did not forget to troll Shahid Afridi for his recent comments regarding zero talent in the team.

The beard that stole the show

Social media posts and comments, after the day one play by, people from almost everywhere made one think, Oh! What’s in a beard?

People are in love with the way Misbah looks now. His recently grown beard is making a buzz.

                  Time for Afridi to watch-out.

By the way, there is a Twitter account by the name of MisbahsBeard. Go Check.

A  captain’s modest gesture

As soon as Haq made his 10th century in 62 tests, he stood to attention and saluted the Pakistani flag with a great style…and the fans enjoyed it.

Watch it, Boom Boom.

Push-ups in celebrations

OK…Haq made a deal.

He had promised to the army guys in the training camp in Abbottabad that he would do exactly 10 push-ups whenever he scored a hundred against England.

Even the England Cricket team’s official page on Twitter termed it the greatest century celebrations.

So, start counting once again.

With love from Haq’s fans for Afridi…once gain.

Good luck! captain for the rest of the England tour.
