The counsel of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) preferred not to cross-examine the then caretaker CM Punjab Najam Sethi over much-hyped issue of ’35 punctures’.
The skipper had time and again ‘hit bouncers’ at Najam Sethi accusing him of causing punctures in Punjab and everyone was awaiting a major development for today Sethi was also appearing before the commission on rigging.
But, PTI counsel Abdul Hafeez Pirzada not even questioned a single puncture, let alone 35.
When journos asked should they consider it over, the PTI chairman said that the game has not yet concluded.
After the hearing of the judicial commission, PML-N’s Anushe Rehman also took exception to Imran Khan and questioned him to explain his past allegations.
Najam Sethi, in his word with media, expressed disappointment for not being asked about the punctures, adding, “I had brought enough of documents with me, but not took interest.”
