The Foreign Office's former spokesperson Tasneem Aslam revealed that they had been instructed not to deliver statements against India during the tenure of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

By Web Desk In her weekly briefing, Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam said in response to a question that 10 Pakistani sailors were currently being detained at a police station in the Indian state of Gujarat after their boat capsized on April 2. She said that since they were being housed in the police station, they did not have proper lodging and that this was of serious concern. The Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi had approached the Indian government for their early repatriation to Pakistan, she said.
