Sridevi

Sridevi is a well-known Bollywood actress. She was born on 13 August 1963 in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. Sridevi is noticeable for her work in Bollywood as an Actor.

She started her carrier with Tamil cinema. Sridevi debuted as a child actor in Muruga(1967). She married Boney Kapoor after the death of her first husband Chakraborty in 1988. Sridevi is worked in Television show Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai (2004) and as a judge in the TV show.

She was come back with English Vinglish in 2012 after the break of 15 years in Bollywood. sridevi earns many Award like Civilian award, Filmfare Best Actress. Her father was a Layer and she has two stepsisters. She falls in love with Mithun Chakraborty in 1984.

Sridevi was a Multitalented lady and work in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada film.

In 1978, she starred in her first Hindi film, Solva Saawan which failed at the box office. However, her second movie, Himmatwala, went on to become a big success and established her status in Bollywood. The film also earned her the famous nickname Thunder Thighs.

She was a member of the Board of Directors at the Asian Academy of Film and Television. She performed a medley of some of her most popular film songs at the 52nd Filmfare Awards 2007.
