Shabbar Zaidi

Syed Mohammad Shabbar Zaidi, Pakistani Chartered Accountant who is currently serving as the 26^th chairman of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Zaidi had also served in provincial ministry in government of Sindh during the year 2013.

Mr Zaidi had also severd as the president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from the year 2005 – 2006. He is also a senior member of PWC, Syed Mohammad Shabbar Zaidi had contributed himself for the community support, he is one of the trustee of Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) & member of board of governors at Liaquat National Hospital and Karachi School of Business & Leadership (KSBL).

One of his major achievement was becoming the Chairman of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). The renowned chartered Accountant and expert of tax Affairs was appointed as the chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) by the current Prime Minster of Paksitan Mr Imran Khan.

Tax reforms implemented by him is appraised and bringing fruits toward economy of Pakistan. He is working hard day and night to implement proper revenue mobilization
