Robbery is a serious crime that is punished below jurisdictions by severe prison sentence. Every jurisdiction may define this differently robbery is typically the act of depriving another person of their property by using the threat of harm or intimidation.

Robbery has five elements, the taking with intent to steal, the personal property of another, from his or her person or in their presence, against his or her will and by violence, intimidation or the threat of force.

Governments around the globe are taking strict measures to eliminate these crimes. Many countries including some Asian countries succeed to decrease the rate in their countries.
