Under the “Road to Makkah”project, immigration and other formalities of intending pilgrims travelling to the holy land are being completed at Islamabad airport. For this purpose special counters manned by Saudi officials have been set up.
he pre-departure immigration facility under the Road to Makkah Project was inaugurated at the Islamabad International Airport easing procedures for pilgrims before landing in Saudi Arabia. The first period of the venture, the traditions and immigration procedure of Pakistani pilgrims would be finished at the Islamabad Airport along these lines sparing them the 10 to 12-hour process at the Jeddah Airport.
A group of 51 Saudi authorities would direct the immigration procedure for Pakistani pilgrims, for which special counters will be built up at the Islamabad Airport.
