Rauf Siddiqui is a politician in current Sindh Assembly and is associated with left wing famous political party Muttahida Quami Movement. He belongs to constituency PP-103 Karachi-XV. He has travelled to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States. He follows Islam as religion and speaks Urdu as language.
He is a senior politician who takes keen interest in solving the problems of his people. Currently he is serving as a Member of Standing Committee on Co-operatives. Due to his many years of struggle as politician he has served Government of Sindh as politician many times previously.
He has served in Government of Sindh as Minister of Excise and Taxation from January 2003 to March 2004, as Minister of Home and Co-ordination from July 2004 to June 2006, as Minister of Culture, Tourism and Social Welfare from September 2006 to November 2007 and as Minister for Industry and Commerce from 2008 to 2013.
