PSL – Pakistan Super League was launched mere two years ago in December 2015 and became a success story with an inaugural edition drawing appreciations from fans, cricket pundits and legendary cricketers.
After two successful editions of PSL in 2016 and 2017, the third edition of Pakistan Super League, kicked off with a glittering opening ceremony on February 22 at Dubai at 8 PM followed by the first match of the 2018 edition between the defending champions, Peshawar Zalmi and the newest team of HBL PSL family, Multan Sultans at 10 PM.
The prominent aspect to PSL and Pakistan Cricket is that several international players from top teams have now started taking a keen interest in the league. Before the drafting of players, many of the international stars consented with the PCB to become a part of PSL’s 3rd edition.
The tournament is comprised of 34 matches including the playoffs and the final, among six franchises which are:
1. Karachi Kings, 2. Peshawar Zalmi, 3. Lahore Qalandars, 4. Multan Sultans, 5. Islamabad United, 6. Quetta Gladiators.
The fans excitement is expected to fly high as the final of PSL 3 will be played on 25th March in Karachi respectively.
